Welcome to beautiful Trollhättan, a stone's throw from the lake

With Öresjö only a couple of hundred meters from this house, you have front row access to everything nature has to offer. During the seasons, the forest offers plenty of mushrooms and berries. The house has a large, lovely terrace with a barbecue and outdoor furniture - perfect for summer evenings. At the back there is a hilly garden with both mountains and lawn. Inside the entrance, a living room with two single beds awaits, which can be furnished according to what suits the group best. The two sofas are sofa beds if you need additional sleeping places. Further into the house there are armchairs by the cozy stove, a dining table and a bunk bed that can be folded up against the wall when not in use. A staircase leads up to the loft, which has two solid mattresses. The kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave and refrigerator. There is an exit to the balcony from the kitchen and next to it is a small annex with a small freezer and a washing machine with dryer function. Spacious bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. The generous ceiling height gives the house a charming and airy feel.

The area at Öresjö attracts all year round. In the summer, the lake offers several swimming bays and one of the large ones closest to the house is the popular Munkeboviken which suits most people. A municipal swimming area with lawn, beach, jetty and toilet. Walk the nice boardwalk through the forest along the water and you will come to the next large swimming area with a playground, large slide and kiosk and dog swimming area.

In spring and autumn, the outdoor recreation area at Öresjö is a popular area for hiking and exercise. There are several marked trails and paths for both walking and running. Winter by the lake is magical and when the weather permits, both ice skating and skiing are possible out on the ice. Trollhättan's artificial snow track is located at the ski lodge in Strömslund (8km) and offers a floodlit cross-country skiing loop on cold winter days.

Trollhättan has a lot to offer! See the mighty locks in Trollhättan's lock area or play and experiment at the Innovatum Science Center. Visit Trollhättan's unique themed playgrounds that are located around the city. How about, for example, "Macken", "Skrotnisses" or the "Tivoli" playground in Stadsparken? For those interested in cars, the Saab Car Museum is a must and for those who want to relax, there are plenty of hiking trails by the water. Trollhättan is a city filled with experiences that suit everyone in the family. A good starting point if you want to discover more of the surrounding area. The west coast with Orust, Tjörn, Ljungskile is within easy reach. And only just over 30 minutes by train to the cultural and entertainment city of Gothenburg with Liseberg, Universeum, shopping and entertainment. Uddevalla with Torp shopping center and nice seaside resorts can be reached in about 30 minutes. The Halle-Hunneberg nature reserve (30 minutes) with wildlife, hiking and activities for all ages.
