Welcome to a wonderful, former guesthouse located just 3 km from Mariannelund – right in the heart of Astrid Lindgren's fairy tale world. Here you live in a large, unique house with high comfort surrounded by beautiful nature and idyllic surroundings.

Here you live perfectly for discovering places such as Bullerbyn (only 3 km walk), Näs where Astrid Lindgren was born, Filmbyn, Katthult, Mariannelund's caramel distillery and other attractions in the area. The nearest swimming pool is at Spilhammarsbadet where there is a nice swimming area.

There is a rowing boat and canoe available to borrow, which can be easily pre-booked via the house owner.

The large garden is a lovely oasis with fruit trees and a nice view, which is shared with two other rental houses on the farm.

Children can have fun with a trampoline, swings. There are also bicycles and various play equipment such as a cube – perfect for active and happy family days.

The house is divided over three spacious floors, which provides plenty of space for both socializing and secluded relaxation.

• Entrance floor: Modern kitchen, living room, dining room, a bedroom with a double bed and a toilet with shower and washing machine.

• Second floor: Cozy living room ideal for socializing or leaning back with a book and enjoying.

• Upper floor with beautiful beamed ceilings: Living room, a bedroom with a double bed (through room), and a bedroom with two single beds and a 140 cm wide bed for two who can imagine sleeping close together.

It is not allowed to burn in the house's fireplaces except for the stove in the living room with TV on the entrance floor. You must bring your own firewood for heating and fire experience is a requirement.

A hiking trail passes right outside the property for those who want to take a walk in wonderful nature.
