The accommodation is a detached cottage—one of three small houses in the area—boasting a prime location within the complex and a large private terrace. The entire unit was fully renovated in 2025 and features a modern, high standard of finish.

The surrounding area offers opportunities for saltwater swims, forest walks, and a coastal landscape that invites both relaxation and exploration. The hallway has space for outerwear, and right next to it is the bathroom, equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. The kitchen and living room share an open, sociable layout featuring a dining area and a cozy seating corner, where a beautiful sea view accompanies you throughout your stay. The cottage has one bedroom with a hotel-quality double bed (160 cm) and a sofa bed in the living room (140 cm sleeping surface), providing comfortable accommodation for up to four people. The spacious terrace is furnished with a dining area for four, a couple of sun loungers, and a charcoal grill.

Bjällansås is perfectly situated for discovering some of Bohuslän’s most popular attractions. Meet the animals at Nordens Ark, go swimming and crab fishing in one of the many coves, or take the ferry to charming Fiskebäckskil and Lysekil. There, you will find the Havets Hus aquarium, cozy ice cream parlors, and pleasant surroundings perfect for a leisurely stroll.

For those seeking more activity, there are opportunities to rent kayaks, explore hiking trails, or join boat tours through the archipelago. You might also want to take a day trip to Smögen, with its famous wooden pier, or to Tjörn and the Pilane Sculpture Park. At the same time, there is every reason to simply stay put and enjoy the local area. Take a morning dip from the rocks, spend the day at the beach, or gather the family at one of the barbecue areas for an outdoor dinner.

The terrain is hilly and includes some stairs, but the reward is the constant proximity to the sea view. It is easy to pause for a moment, take in the scenery, and then continue your walk.
